MK Curry Club "Juniors"

So finally we got around to arranging the first MK Curry Club "Juniors" meeting.  A lunch time buffet at a relatively new venue in Newport Pagnell; the Indian Cottage down at the bottom of the High Street.

I think the Juniors had a good time but I'll let you judge from their scores, comments and photos below.  I certainly think the Juniors show a surprising degree of maturity in their scoring.  They picked up on the good quality of the food and slow service in their scores.

 Summary

The final reckoning is shown in the table below. Overall the Juniors rated Indian Cottage a very healthy 22.5 Taj Mahals.  The seniors are already looking forward to their official visit in 2005.

Other Comments

All straight from the kids including their spellings:

  • The atmosphere was pritty good and so was the corner [where the boys were all sitting].  I did not like the service but the desert was nice (Chris M)
  • They treated us like adults (Charli B)
  • I think the resteront is really nice.  They treated us like adults (Emma W)
  • The toilets were good and fairly clean.  The onion bogees where tasty.  On the desert menu the "Egg man" was good 4 kids.  The corma was good, but there could be one with no nuts!! (Jack W - Your king)
  • They could of had a wider range of food.  They need a car park.  Overall I would give it 6/10 (Sean W - AKA the best)
  • The service could be a bit quicker.  There could have been more varieties of food.  The toilets were very clean. (Jack M - the Master)
