| La Hind Review - September 2004[Visit the Information Page for this Restaurant] For personal detailed reviews of the restaurant click on the links to the left. The summary review is shown below. SummaryThe final reckoning is shown in the table below. Overall we rate La Hind a very respectable 22.0 Taj Mahals. Only slightly lower than the 23.0 recorded just over 2 years ago. La Hind continues to provide a higher than average score and it is notable that La Hind is often visited independently by members of the curry club throughout the year. This level of consistency is commendable. We can recommend joining the VIP club prior to your meal at La Hind (no cost). This entitles you to 20% off all food for every visit. Plus a free bottle of wine on the first visit for each 4 diners. This ensures the VFM score is at the upper end of the range. My personal recommendation to improve things further would be to remove the fountain. It really is looking rather worn and I fear the plastic ducks do nothing to enhance the experience. Running water always puts me off too! La Hind is good value when compared with other curry houses. It appears in the bottom 3rd of restaurants in The Common Curry costs. Bearing in mind you can then get a further 20% off using the free VIP card, La Hind starts to look like a bargain. Well done La Hind! With this score La Hind can still claim to be the highest scoring curry house in MK as other equal or higher scoring restaurants are in Newport Pagnell, Stony and Bletchley.
