Summary

The final reckoning is shown in the table below. Overall we rate it a disappointing 19.0 Taj Mahals.

As the restaurant promotes itself in their web site as being unusual due to "... a huge copy of a Michelangelo fresco ... being in a chapel that was formally used for the local orphanage ..." and can be heard advertised on the local radio, we thought we were in for a real treat. Unfortunately, overall the Moghul Palace did not do themselves the justice that all the glorious decoration called for.

I do not think that they took the MKCurry Club seriously - even with our depleted numbers due to the holiday weekend. But if it's fast food you're looking for, then this is the place. From popadum to bill was an hour.

  • Service was too fast
  • Oddly empty for a Friday evening...maybe that's to do with the fast service
  • Clean, well presented toilets
  • I've know take aways to take longer than this meal
  • Very keen to take our money - the reach out and grab technique rather than being handed over
  • Music stopped shortly after we'd arrived and didn't start again until we mentioned it in conversation
  • Didn't bother to ask about a kitchen visit as we did not feel welcome
