Summary

The final reckoning is shown in the table below. Overall we rate it a reasonable 21.0 Taj Mahals. 

Well the famous balti experience finally took place with hard core members travelling to Birmingham from all over the country.  Overall the experience was very good with some real highlights.  The quality of the food was very good with many favourable comments.  Outstanding items of merit must go to the Tandoori fish starter and the quality of the nan bread.  Just the right consistency for dipping into those balti dishes.

The overall score of 21 is a little harsh as a lot of people marked this very low or even zero due to the long distance away from home.  Interestingly, if you take out the Location category and pro rata the result you find they would have scored 23.  This puts them right up with the best scores to date.

The winner of the "most annoying git" award goes to Martin Crocket for his continued nagging about the desire for discount.  More comments follow after the table:
